Once we’ve discussed and agreed on the right printing technology to fit your needs, we’ll explore what fulfilment options are best for you. We offer automated folding, finishing and envelope enclosing, as well as hand fulfilment for mailers that may be unusual shapes or sizes.
Laser printing
Although digital printing is associated with smaller print runs (we produce mailshots from just 100 items), we can digitally overprint large runs of up to 200,000 items that have been produced more cost efficiently using our litho printing service. For example, postcards or brochure mailings that require an address to be overprinted, or vouchers and flyers that require a unique reference or QR codes to be added. By spot sealing the litho print we stop the ink from smudging when overprinting.
We will be running a mix of Konica Minolta and Xerox machines. For high-quality results that won’t easily rub off in your hands, we’ve chosen to use Konica Minolta and Xerox dry ink (toner-based) digital printers.
Inkjet printing
On larger runs that don’t require full colour printed envelopes, we recommend inkjet printing your envelopes. It’s more cost efficient and significantly faster. We can print 30,000 envelopes an hour compared to 9,000 using the laser printer. If you’re working to a very tight deadline, that can make all the difference.
Digitally printed envelopes
We can digitally print envelopes in full colour, extending right out to the fold (edge to edge) for really impactful designs that will increase open rates. Each envelope can carry a different design tailored specifically to the interests or profile of the recipient. The print cost remains the same – unlike your engagement levels, which are likely to go up.
